2018-2019 Basketball (2018-2019 school year)
Rehoboth’s winter basketball leagues are for guys and gals 5 years old — 12th grade (2018-2019 school year).  Registration fees are listed above. Each participant registered after the first participant in a family will receive a $5 discount each. Fees include a jersey and a banquet.

Below are the details of Winter Basketball:

  • November 10, 11am: Selection day (everyone will make a team)
  • November 19: First day of practice
  • December 29: First game day

Regarding practices: practices will be Monday – Friday, after school hours.  All games will be played on Saturdays, with no activity happening on Sundays. Once tryouts are held and teams formed, we will send out a detailed schedule.

Team and Coach Selection: We are not able to honor requests for a Participant to be placed on a certain team or with a certain coach. A coach, however, may request to have their child(ren) on his/her team in that age division. Sisters or brothers in the same division may be placed on the same team if requested.

When the start date begins, November 11th, no refunds will be granted. If tryouts are held and A Participant is unable to attend, it is the Participant’s or his/her guardian’s responsibility to notify the program director BEFORE the draft/tryouts.

About Charles Earls, Sports & Fitness Director at Rehoboth:

Rehoboth’s Sports & Fitness Director, Charles Earls, plans to incorporate skill development training this season. He has been training basketball players for 20+ years, putting more than 400 kids in college and training and developing 25 professional basketball players. As a player, Coach Charles was fortunate enough to win back to back state titles in high school, compile a record of ’86-4 over three years, which is one of the highest 3 year winning percentages. He played division I college basketball, participating in 2NCAA tournaments and played several years of international professional basketball.
