Weddings

We are excited to serve you as you prepare for your wedding! Getting married is one of the most significant events in a person’s life, and we look forward to helping you prepare for a life-long marriage centered in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe that it is God alone who has the ultimate authority to prescribe and describe the marital relationship (Gen. 2:24; Matt. 19:1-9; Mark 10:1-12). Our church and our pastors believe God’s design also represents God’s best for us. Therefore, we will only recognize marriages that meet the biblical definition: a covenant relationship between one gender-normative man and one gender-normative woman. The pastors and staff of Rehoboth will only participate in weddings and officiate marriages that meet this definition. The facilities and property of Rehoboth will only host marriage ceremonies that meet this definition.

Due to the active use of Rehoboth’s facilities, only active members may request Rehoboth facilities for weddings, receptions, showers, anniversaries, or vow renewals, and usage fees are required for the use of any facilities.

Scheduling Your Wedding at Rehoboth

Skip to the next section if you want to request a Rehoboth pastor to officiate your wedding without using Rehoboth’s facilities.

  1.  Complete the Scheduling Form to request a date to hold your wedding at Rehoboth.  Once we receive your facility request, we will contact you in 5-7 days to let you know if your date is available. Please note that you cannot schedule a wedding more than 1 year ahead of time and not less than 5 months before your desired date. The date will only be held when we receive the Wedding Application and a $250 deposit for facility usage.
  2.  Once you receive confirmation that your desired date is available, complete the Wedding Application and submit it along with a $250 facility usage deposit. You will receive an email confirming that we received your application and deposit and have booked your date. Then we will set up a meeting to discuss the church’s policies and to walk you through our facilities.
  3. All couples being married at Rehoboth or by a Rehoboth pastor must complete an approved premarital counseling course before the wedding. If you have already completed such counseling, bring a copy of your completion certificate to your first meeting with us.
  4. The balance of your facility usage fee is due one month before your wedding date.

Weddings and rehearsals may not be scheduled at Rehoboth on Easter weekend, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, the week following Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
